When Knights Analytics approached Positive Impact Design, we identified that their biggest most urgent problem was their messaging. Since they didn’t communicate the value of their service to their target audience, they struggled to grow their client base.
The founder, Alex Ridden was getting ready for an upcoming conference and expected a lot of website traffic, as a result, she wanted to sort out the messaging quickly and efficiently. She wanted to make sure they wouldn't lose business opportunities by not being able to convert these visitors in leads.
The project was kicked-off by a strategy workshop facilitated by us. Knowing that we had only a few weeks before the event at which the founder was going to speak, we focused on analyzing the company's current messaging and the way they interacted with their audience through online content.
Through the exercises and the framework that we designed for them, we were able to identify that their actual end goal was different than the one they previously had been working towards. Defining short, medium and long term goals helped them understanding where to put their efforts primarily, and what the results of these efforts would be able to do for them on the long run.
From this, we also worked in details on understanding what their target market should be regarding the clients they currently serve, and moving forward, what type of clients would impact their business the most. That highlighted the fact that their website's copy wasn't formulated in a way that was either easy to understand nor made visitors want to take action, so we drew a plan of action.
Within a couple of weeks, we delivered redesigned website wireframes, and because, together, we had done such a great job at establishing objectives, success metrics and priorities, there weren't any revisions. The changes were implemented within a week, with the results stated above!
